Our FLES Approach
Young children learn best through active, engaging, and meaningful experiences. That's why our program follows the FLES (Foreign Language in the Elementary School) approach, a nationally recognized model designed specifically for elementary students.
Rather than focusing on memorization alone, children develop Spanish naturally through communication, games, storytelling, movement, hands-on activities, projects, songs, and cultural exploration. This approach encourages confidence, curiosity, creativity, and long-term language development while making learning both meaningful and enjoyable.

Full School-Year Programs
Our Elementary Spanish Program is organized into six structured proficiency levels. Each level builds upon the previous one, allowing students to gradually strengthen their speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural understanding while becoming increasingly confident communicators.
Spanish Foundations
Levels 1–2
Mondays & Wednesdays | 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Every language journey begins with a strong foundation. Students are introduced to Spanish through engaging, age-appropriate instruction that develops essential communication skills. Through games, storytelling, songs, movement, hands-on projects, and interactive activities, students build vocabulary, strengthen pronunciation, and begin speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish with confidence.
Building Spanish Communication
Levels 3–4
Tuesdays & Thursdays | 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
As students progress, they begin communicating more independently while expanding their vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and fluency. Interactive lessons, collaborative projects, meaningful conversations, authentic resources, and cultural exploration help students develop confidence using Spanish in academic and everyday situations.
Spanish Proficiency Pathway
Levels 5–6
Fridays | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
The final stage of the program prepares students to become confident and independent Spanish communicators. Through presentations, collaborative projects, authentic reading materials, writing activities, and cultural exploration, students strengthen their communication skills and build a solid foundation for continued Spanish study in middle school and beyond.
